The Challenge
Green & Field is a botanical bazaar based in Leeds - sourcing fresh and dried blooms from the around the world and crafting them into stunning arrangements.
Prior to their big launch, we were approached to work our magic on the new brand’s visual identity, stationery and social media, as well as design a website to show off their botanical master pieces.
Our Approach
Following our favourite process of colour and typography play, we put together a brand proposal consisting of a suggested colour palette and a variation of logos and brand marks, all of which our client instantly fell in love with.
The colour palette features a mix of warm, earthy greens, with a hint of nude and a splash of gold for elegancy.
The main font features a bold but soft serif typography, customised to give the brand its uniqueness and individuality.
The Detail
Once all logo variations, colours and brand marks were set in stone, we implemented the Green & Field style across all stationery types, including business cards, gift cards, wrapping papers and swing tags.
We also carried the branding across to the Green & Field website, designing each of the pages to really showcase their botanical creations, while subtly working in our favourite aspects of the brand to really make the website pop. The website was designed to offer a simple customer experience for audiences of all age groups, and is fully responsive across all devices.
Another really important functionality for the website was for the business to be able to accept online subscriptions and customer payments. Full e-commerce functionality was thereby setup, with full training provided to Green & Field to enable them to add new subscriptions and products to the website in-house, whenever they need to.
The Results
The Green & Field branding came together beautifully - with everything from its signage to its online home showing off the bold yet feminine Green & Field visual identity. Green & Field is now an instantly recognisable brand among its local community in Leeds - a huge achievement for a new up-and-coming business.
