The Challenge
Bristol Airport, approached us to produce a brand video to be used across a variety of channels, offering an introduction to the airport and the outstanding experience its passengers can expect to receive. In brief the video had to create a strong link with both the airport and the region – but ultimately in an original way.
Our Approach
We created the concept and worked on every aspect of the project from casting, to storyboarding right through to the final edit – filming awe-inspiring shots of the airport and surrounding areas.
The feature is a striking depiction of how amazing journeys start at Bristol Airport, be it on arrival or departure from the runway. Two very different customers enjoy the excellent experience the airport has to offer.
The Detail
With the intention of really showcasing the amazing passenger experience and the heavy investments made to the airport environment, an emotive story unfolds, all while subtly incorporating the little details that make the experience so unique.
We filmed each character from an opposing aspect – the woman arriving to embark on her exciting journey – always entering the frame from right to left. Her scenes show iconic imagery filmed by drone, including shots of the stunning Clifton Suspension Bridge. The businessman departing Bristol, enjoys a very relaxed journey through the airport – always entering the frame from left to right. His scenes concentrate on the airport itself including the cutting edge technology and super efficient check-in process.
The Results
Highlighting the huge investments undertaken by the airport to deliver a great experience for all passengers, and their commitment to continually improve their offering, the video subtly showcases everything the airport has to offer, that many were previously unaware of. The video gained a great response across social media and also serves as a great advertising tool on the airport’s website.
