Exploring the latest trends in LED digital content with our Creative Director, Anthony Field

We decided to catch up with our Creative Director, Anthony Field, to get his take on what’s hot right now in the fast evolving world of LED content. Here’s what he shared with us:

Q: "Anthony, what would you say is especially hot right now in LED content creation?"

A: "One trend that’s been getting a lot of attention is anamorphic content — everyday we’re seeing something new in this space and it’s exciting to see how many brands are ready to adopt it and think outside the box. It’s such a huge attention grabber, and always makes its way around social media whenever a new campaign drops. It’s all over my LinkedIn."

Q: "And what’s your take on anamorphic content? Are you a fan?"

A: "A huge fan! When executed correctly, it’s impressive. However, it does have its limitations that not many people are typically aware of. We've been exploring various technologies to create digital illusions that aren’t restricted to a single viewpoint, giving everyone the chance to witness the full effect.

By mapping environments, for example, we’ve enabled viewers to explore and interact with content from multiple angles, turning the experience into something more dynamic and engaging. This approach transforms anamorphic content from a limited, one-spot-only view into a shared spectacle that captivates everyone. It’s like making digital art a living, breathing entity that everyone can enjoy from different perspectives."

Q: "What about data? Does that have a major role to play?"

A: "Data has become a game-changer for digital content. By leveraging live data streams, our developers can create digital art that responds in real time, offering unique experiences to viewers as it continuously evolves. Algorithms can translate these data streams into dynamic visuals that change and pulse with life, ensuring that the content is never static."

Q: "You talk a lot about ambience. Why is that key for LED content?"

A: "For us, digital art is perfect for LEDs. It has an incredible ability to set the mood and alter the ambiance of any given space. By carefully curating content, we can create environments that evoke specific emotions and atmospheres. The right digital content can completely transform the vibe of a space."

Q: "What’s next for you guys in this space, what can we expect?"

A: "Something huge, actually. We're excited to announce the official launch of our new sub-brand, ENTICE Studio, dedicated exclusively to LED content productions. While VISUALAB will continue to provide its full suite of digital signage content and digital marketing services, ENTICE Studio will be the go-to destination for clients seeking high-impact experiential LED productions. It’s an exciting time!"
